1. Acceptance of these terms
By downloading, accessing, or using Wordly, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Wordly. If you are not old enough to enter into a binding agreement where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these terms for you.
2. The Wordly service
Wordly is a five-letter word puzzle game offering a daily puzzle, Endless mode, friend challenges, optional hints, local reminders, and related features. We may add, modify, rebalance, suspend, or remove features as Wordly develops.
Daily puzzles are selected according to the local date on your device. Device time changes, software errors, updates, or differences between devices may affect puzzle availability or progress.
3. License and acceptable use
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Wordly for lawful, non-commercial entertainment, subject to these terms and the rules of the store from which you obtained it.
You must not:
- Copy, sell, sublicense, redistribute, reverse engineer, or exploit Wordly except where law expressly permits.
- Interfere with security, purchase verification, ads, analytics, game integrity, or store services.
- Use automation, modified clients, or fraudulent methods to obtain rewards, purchases, or access.
- Use friend challenges to send unlawful, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, harassing, infringing, or otherwise harmful content.
- Misrepresent your association with Wordly or HZF Apps.
4. Friend challenges
You are responsible for words and challenge codes you create or share. Challenge links and codes may be forwarded by recipients, and the encoded word can be recovered by the Wordly app. Do not include personal, confidential, or sensitive information in a challenge word.
We may change the challenge-code format or stop supporting older challenge links when reasonably necessary for security, compatibility, or product changes.
5. Hearts, hints, and rewards
Hearts, hints, rewards, and other in-game benefits have no cash value, are not transferable, and are licensed rather than sold. We may adjust how they are earned, used, restored, limited, or displayed. Reward availability may depend on advertising inventory, connectivity, platform support, or Wordly Pro status.
6. Advertising
The free version may display native ads and optional rewarded ads provided by Google AdMob and its partners. Watching a rewarded ad is optional unless you choose a feature that uses that reward path. We do not control every advertiser or landing page, and an advertisement does not represent our endorsement of the advertised product or service.
7. Wordly Pro plans
Wordly may offer the following plans through Google Play or the Apple App Store:
- Monthly: an automatically renewing monthly subscription.
- Yearly: an automatically renewing annual subscription.
- Lifetime: a one-time, non-consumable purchase that unlocks Wordly Pro without recurring fees for the lifetime of the Wordly product on the purchased platform, subject to continued store and technical availability.
Current prices, billing periods, taxes, trial terms, and any promotional offers are displayed by the applicable store before you confirm a purchase. Store pricing may vary by country and may change for future purchases or renewals as permitted by store rules and applicable law.
8. Subscription renewal and cancellation
Monthly and yearly subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled through your Google Play or Apple account before the end of the current billing period. Deleting Wordly does not cancel a subscription. You are responsible for managing or canceling subscriptions through the store account used to purchase them.
After cancellation, Pro access normally continues until the end of the paid period. The store controls billing timing, renewal, grace periods, account holds, and cancellation processing.
9. Restoring purchases and platform limits
Wordly does not require an account. Purchases can generally be restored on another device using the same Google Play or Apple account and the same platform. Android purchases do not automatically unlock iOS, and iOS purchases do not automatically unlock Android, because Wordly has no cross-platform account system.
You may need to use the Restore Purchases button. Restoration depends on the store, RevenueCat, connectivity, product availability, and your store account remaining in good standing.
10. Payments, refunds, and taxes
Purchases are processed by Google Play or Apple under their own payment terms. We do not directly process your payment-card information. Refund requests, charge disputes, payment-method issues, and applicable taxes are generally handled under the policies of the store that processed your purchase, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
11. Updates, availability, and compatibility
Wordly may require updates to remain compatible with operating systems, stores, ads, analytics, purchase services, or security requirements. We do not guarantee that every feature, puzzle, challenge code, ad, or purchase option will always be available on every device or in every country.
We may discontinue Wordly or a feature after reasonable consideration. Where practical and legally required, we will provide notice or preserve paid access, but permanent availability cannot be guaranteed beyond our reasonable control.
12. Intellectual property
Wordly, its design, code, branding, artwork, sounds, text, and other original content are owned by or licensed to HZF Apps and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party names, services, software, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
13. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how Wordly handles information through local storage, Vexo Analytics, Google AdMob, RevenueCat, Google Play, Apple, notifications, and this website. It forms part of these terms.
14. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wordly is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, and permanent preservation of local progress. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of these terms may not apply to you.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HZF Apps will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of progress, lost profits, device issues, store-account issues, or third-party services arising from Wordly. Our total liability for claims relating to Wordly will not exceed the amount you paid for Wordly during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, unless applicable law requires a greater amount.
16. Suspension and termination
We may limit or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect Wordly, users, stores, providers, or legal compliance, including in cases of fraud, abuse, unauthorized modification, or material violation of these terms. Pro purchase rights remain subject to applicable consumer law and store policies.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country applies. Any dispute should first be raised with us in good faith so we can try to resolve it informally.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to Wordly, stores, providers, law, or business practices. The updated date at the top identifies the latest version. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept them, to the extent permitted by law.
